1. Some character traits that best describe Abraham Lincoln are brave, because he led a war. Strong in his thought, because he did not give up in the Civil war. Huge, because he was quite tall and he was huge in the country of USA.

Licoln's greatest achievements were the the winninng of the Civil War and giving the Gettyburg Adress.
I think Lincoln did not want to allow the South to secede from the Union because he believed everyone should be free and that all states should have no slavery. He thought everyone should be equal.
The effect from Licoln's actions let Obama to become president. Without Lincoln freeing slaves and abolishing slavery Obama might be a slave right now and this great time of history would've never happened. Now because of Lincoln everyone is equal.

Lincoln’s greatest achievements were at Lincolns proclamation Lincoln set free all of the enslaved people in the Confederate states, and Lincoln kept the united states together when the civil war was going on in 1861-1865.
I think Lincoln did not want to allow the South to secede because Lincoln wanted to have no slavery and the South wanted to have slavery and Lincoln didn't want them to withdraw.
I think Lincoln's actions did effect how we got Obama as president because Barack Obama is African American and he would be a slave if Lincoln wern't president.

4)The effect was that Lincoln helped free African Americans and sense Obama is African American Lincoln allowed him to become president.
